Anxiety

Anxiety is a normal human response in times of worry, danger or stress. Often  anxiety can become problematic as a result of  internalised fear of situations that effect people emotionally, physically and psychologically. Many people experience anxiety as a result of bullying, low self esteem, past trauma, loss and bereavement, financial stress, relationship problems and health problems.  Counselling & psychotherapy can help overcome the symptoms of anxiety,  the nature of  anxiety, learn to  approach situations with confidence and mange anxiety in a less inhibiting way.

Often anxiety and depression can have strong links and its very important to determine the relationship between depression and anxiety and how this can effect the individual.

Anxiety is very common and is treatable. 

Therapists use a range of techniques including CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) Solution Focused Therapy, Psychotherapy to assist clients in overcoming anxiety behaviours and feelings.
